Cancel Culture invades Western Isles – Censored Leaflet revealed
It is apparent that the cancel culture has reached the Western Isles where Dr Donald Boyd is the Scottish Christian Party candidate for the 2024 General Election.
The Stornoway Gazette refused to publish an advert we provided to them as part of our election campaign. We were told “as it can cause offence to some readers”. This hyper-sensitivity of the snowflake generation contrasts with the toleration of Christians who are offended many times a day. Toleration begins where agreement ends.
Below is the advert that was accepted and published in the paper on Thursday 20th June 2024.
In order to bow to the snowflake, woke culture this message which provokes debate is cancelled. The idol of trans ideology must not be offended or challenged but must be worshipped, and censorship awaits all who take a contrary position. Christians should be always ready to give a reason for the hope within us. We do not fear debate and discussion – Why do woke supporters fear it?
